Spreading the love for Belgian chocolate

With room for more than 75 MILLION KILOS of chocolate, The Chocolate Box is well-equipped to handle the world’s chocolate needs.

From Beijing to Montréal, the chocolate of Barry Callebaut gets shipped to more than 140 different countries.

But first, even before the chocolate arrives at The Chocolate Box, it goes through a rigorous process to become the product that’s famous across the globe. From bean selection to roasting, refining and conching. Every single step of the production process has an impact on the result. Meanwhile, our experts make sure everything goes just right. Once the quality is approved by the Barry Callebaut experts, the chocolate gets packed in different pack sizes before it gets shipped to The Chocolate Box.

All chocolate inside The Chocolate Box is stored at a stable 18°C, perfect for chocolate. Any higher, and it would melt, lower, and it would turn white. Humidity is tightly controlled to combat the formation of water crystals. And machines, Artificial Intelligence and a dedicated workforce work closely together to store and ship the chocolate as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Chocolate has the power to inspire. To warm hearts and ease minds. On good days - and during the bad ones. It doesn't judge or discriminate. I'm very proud to work with it on a daily basis.
